Grindelwald, Switzerland:  On Christmas Eve there was a warm, gale force wind that was really unusual for this part of the world. It blew away or melted the snow so that the place looked like it was late spring.  A disaster for a ski resort. But the next day it snowed non-stop, dumping well over 12 inches of snow. This was the result.
