Just arrived back from France. I love being in different places, but the travel is getting harder and harder.  The flight out of Bordeaux was late, so we missed our connection in Paris. We were forced to spend a day/night at the airport. They took almost 3 hours to re-book us for the next day, destroying any chance of redeeming the delay by a pleasant day in Paris itself.  To add insult to injury, they would not let me take my tripod on board.  I had to go back and check it. And true to form, the tripod is lost somewhere in the bowels of the airline system. Plus to make sure I felt really good, they broke one of our suitcases.

Still, it is not hard to see why France is the number one tourist destination in the world. I never tire of going back there. Towns like this one are so majestical. Being a family vacation, I was not as hard core about photographing. But I did get a few shots off.
