OK so I have been silent for a while. No excuse, just busy. But it hasn’t been a lack of travel. I have been to Japan and China recently and am on my way home from Mozambique and South Africa. In 2 weeks I head to Kenya and Ethiopia. I haven’t yet posted any shots from Japan, but they will come. I was in Kyoto during the cherry blossom season. I have found that is actually quite difficult to capture the splendor of the cherry blossoms.

The photo below was taken in Cape Town at the Waterfront. I would argue that Cape Town has got to be one of the best, if not the best city in the world to live. I was blown away by the place this past weekend, even though it used to be my home town. Tell me I’m wrong……. There is so much to do in the city, so much to see. The people are friendly and attractive. My sons need to go back there to find their wives :). It is just an amazing city. The weather was phenomenal. Everybody was out exercising or enjoying the splendors of creation.
