Culturally relevant church
Kenya, Nairobi, Sony A6000
I was recently in Kenya and went to Nairobi Chapel on Sunday. This church took the decision not to invest lots of money on buildings. Instead, they erected these fancy tents that worked really well. Obviously you need to have a mild climate to be able to do this, but it is so refreshing to see people take such a sensible approach.
The experience inside the tent was fantastic. They have a good sound system and you didn’t even notice the noise from outside. Of course, being an African church the music rocked. I was so encouraged by the church in Kenya. I met so many fine leaders with incredible depth.
