I was last in Portugal over 30 years ago. Embarrassing because it gives away my advanced years. But we arrived today from Pisa. There will be posts on our experiences in Tuscany, but I felt I would slip this photo from my iPhone in quickly.  We are staying in one of the most incredible Air BnB locations. The hosts are amazing. They go the extra mile for guests, like giving them a free ride back to the airport. So the son of the host took us on a quick tour of the neighborhood and while doing this he pointed out the unique tiles found on many of the facades of the building. The photo below is a good example:
