Keller Bluff in Knoxville
Knoxville, Sony A7R
One of the biggest challenges is to photograph your own backyard! Unless of course you live in a city like Paris. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee and while there are some interesting places nearby in the Smokies, the town itself is actually quite difficult to photograph creatively. I have had a few weeks when my wife has been out of town, giving me more time to explore and photograph the city. But it is actually proving hard. The major natural beauty is the Tennessee River which has been dammed, creating a number of really great lakes for recreation. But they are actually hard to photograph well. Maybe just for me. This was taken across the lake from Keller Bluff.
