One of my favorite photographers took a shot of this well known cathedral, Nôtre Dame, in Paris that was published by National Geographic. I went, hoping to get a similar shot. I hadn’t looked at his photo in a long time so I wasn’t sure which angle he had taken. Well, as per usual, I didn’t get that one right, but I also branched out on my own (which is always a better idea) and got this one.

The strong light on the bridge is actually a passing boat. I managed to record it without getting the moving boat in the picture.
