Taking the Sony NEX-6 for a spin in Indonesia
Indonesia, Sony NEX-6
It takes a long time to get to this place from Knoxville. Six flights, one boat ride; 2 days in the air, one hour on the water. But wow! How beautiful. I was traveling with the Sony Nex 6. It is great because it is so compact and easy to carry. This is a single shot, but if you look at another post in the same area, which is a tone-mapped HDR shot, I am a little concerned with the noise level that comes through on the Sony NEX-6. Admittedly, the shots were not at ISO 100, but still I had to do a lot of noise reduction. It is evident though, that mirrorless cameras are going to dominate in travel photography – no question. My back told me so.
