This photo was taken with the tiny Sony RX100 camera on Clifton Beach in Cape Town.

MusselsG+

I had my other camera set up on a tripod nearby and I was experimenting with this camera on a gorilla pod. The colors of the plants and the mussels on the rocks, along with mystical feeling from shooting into the sun gave the photo an unusual dimension.

For those who are looking for an incredible destination, Cape Town ranks right up there. The exchange rate is in the favor of any hard currency, making your time there relatively cheap. It has to be one of the best food destinations in the world. I would suggest you can eat at a different world class restaurant every day of the year. The winelands have an amazing tri-factor: natural beauty of the landscape, architectural beauty and then great food & wine. I never tire of going back there.
